After debating with many Catholics, like many of you have done over the years every time I hear them say! That they are the true church just makes me laugh, so I thought this picture best fits this post.
Their is so much talk and so much confusion going on within Christianity that many folks are turning away from it all together. Can you really blame them? After all with all the voices of religion saying we are the true Church, but yet not all agreeing on what is truth? is driving this behavior of young people today from biblical Christianity.
Why? You may ask, because Satan has been able to get a lot of false teachers, false miracles, false bibles, false books, false visions, to take place that people today are being deceived by all kinds of ways.
If Catholic people really believe the Words that Jesus spoke 2,000 years ago! When he said, Jesus warned us in Matthew 24: 4 And Jesus answered, and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. The whole point here is that we are not to be deceived, but yet millions are? In all kinds of ways!
5 For many shall come in my Name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. Here we see the Catholic Church coming to the forefront of Using the name of Christ, claiming that the Catholic Church is Christ’s Catholic Church what a joke this is?
Really just think about it my Catholic friends the whole premise of the Catholic Church is built on one lie! That lie, is that Christ built his church on Peter? So where does Matthew 16:18-19 say catholic church, with popes as the head instead of Christ?
Really, if any Catholic would take in account all other scriptures, and study the bible yourself you would read Ephesians 2:20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the [chief] Cornerstone,
So, my Catholic friend who is the foundation of Christ’s true church built on,? Jesus Christ!
If it was built on Peter than why did Jesus not say to Peter, Peter you are the Cornerstone that I will build my church? But nope because Peter never was the head of the Catholic Church period! In fact if the Catholic church would have built their religion on THE WRITINGS OF PETER! WHO WROTE 8 CHAPTERS, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH WOULD NOT BE THE CULT THAT SHE IS TODAY! INTO MOTHER MARY WORSHIP! If the Catholic person is standing at the cross roads of staying or leaving the Catholic religion, CAN YOU SHOW ME WHERE PETER WRITES SUPPORTING THE MASS? THE CATHOLIC PRIESTHOOD? CONFESSION? PRAYING TO THE DEAD? LITERALLY EATING THE FLESH OF GOD, AND DRINKING THE BLOOD OF GOD?
IN fact! As a Catholic why would you not believe the very words of Peter?
1 Peter 2:6 For this is contained in Scripture:
“Behold, I am laying in Zion a chosen stone, a precious (honored) Cornerstone, And he who believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will never be disappointed [in his expectations].”
Here we see that even Peter who the Catholic Church allegedly claims was the first Pope In their religion says nothing about himself being the rock but rather Tells us that Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone, and not him as the Catholic Church claims.
It is no wonder why Colossians 2:8 says
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”
So between spiritual fear of no salvation outside of the Catholic Church, philosophy, the tradition of men, and propaganda by the Catholic Church with their Catholic Catechism, you have millions of people are held in a lot of religious spiritual bondage.
In this post I want to expose a lie that the Catholic Church has been saying for centuries and that is its claim to be “The True Church of Jesus Christ”
We all know we’ll those of us who have read the Bible knows that the biggest Christian Cult on earth is the Catholic religion. Really that is any one who can read the Bible without the Catholic brain washing would see nothing about the Catholic religion in the Word of God!
You would realize that the true Church of Jesus Christ is built on Jesus Christ alone! And he is the corner stone and foundation, so The lie! Of the Catholic Church claiming that the Catholic Church was built on Peter does not make sense what so ever. Why then did Jesus not tell Peter that he is the corner stone?
The ability to trace one’s church back to the “first church” through apostolic succession is an argument used by a number of different churches to assert that their church is the “one true church.” The Roman Catholic Church makes this claim.
The first church, its growth, doctrine, and practices, are all recorded for us in the New Testament. Jesus, as well as His apostles, foretold that false teachers would arise, and indeed as we can see in this day and age how true those words are that Jesus gives in
Mathew 24:4 and Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
Mathew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many
Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many
Having a pedigree of apostolic succession or being able to trace a church’s roots back to the “first church” which the Catholic Church swears up and down they are, is nowhere in Scripture or given as a test for being the true church of Jesus Christ.
This is simply Catholic propaganda folks, or at best a spiritual urban legend, really anyone in this day and age who would read the Word of God would never reach the conclusion that the Catholic Church is the true church of Jesus Christ?
What is given is repeated comparisons between what false teachers teach and what the first church of Jesus Christ taught, as recorded in Scripture.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
This of course the Catholic Church rejects. In this day and age of confusion in the body of Christ how are we to determine whether a church is true or not is determined by comparing its teachings and practices to that of the New Testament church of Jesus Christ , as recorded in Scripture.
The true Church of Jesus Christ in the New Testament is the “true church” And every biblical born-again believer who has put their faith and trust in Christ alone! For their salvation is in this Church which is the body of Christ, and him Jesus being the head, and the Cornerstone, and not Peter and the lying Catholic Church with the pope being the head.
Folks, truth is dependence upon the Word of God, rather than following certain individual “founders” or Apparitions
of mother Mary or following anti-Christ popes of the catholic religion is clearly seen over and over again in Galatians 1:8-9, in which Paul states, “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
And what do we find in the Catholic Church a different gospel? A gospel mixing with the Sacraments, and a gospel of fear! With the Catholic Church saying ( their is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church ) does this my Catholic friends sound like the gospel of Christ? Of course Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
So, as we read this passage as a Catholic you discover the real truth! that is the gospel of salvation does not flow through the Catholic Church as they claim, and you also notice that the Sacraments are never mentioned here in this passage, and you also notice! That mother Mary has nothing to do with salvation what so ever!
So, the mother Mary of the Catholic religion is a liar! When she says who ever wears her brown scapular will not go to hell! Is a lying spirit preaching a different gospel? Galatians 1: 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
When Acts 4:12 clearly says NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN! Including the lying mother Mary of Fatima!
Folks, in this day and age give anyone a New Testament without the Catholic church’s influence tell them to read it, and no one with wisdom and logic will not see nothing or read anything of the Catholic religion. Or of Satan’s Apparitions of the Catholic mother Mary.
All of the hype and propaganda of the Catholic religion being the “True Church of Christ” Or “being the oldest church” Or the “biggest Christian Church” ” are all claims that are not supported by the Word of God.
So, the question here folks, is simply this. How do you and I determine whether a church is teaching correct doctrine or not? Whether its the Catholic church or any other church is only by the infallible standard of the Word of God. Not the infallible standard of the popes or Rome and their private interpretation.
Scripture says that we have the Word of God (Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Folks, and my Catholic friends Tradition whether its Catholic or not must be compared to God’s Word, lest it go against what is true, this is where I oppose the Catholic religion so strongly! And so should every spirit filled born-again blood bought believer in Christ Jesus.
(Mark 7:1-13).
Folks, The propaganda of the Catholic church claiming its the church built on Christ simply is a lie! The reason being is the “first church” was already IN Existence, read the book of ACTS! before the Catholic church ever got started. Do Catholic’s think about how they have been deceived by this lie nope?
Folks, seriously some of you Catholics may be free from what I am showing you while others of you will dig in and fight for your religion. I understand my self being an X Catholic for 35 years What ever decision you make as a Catholic that is your choice.
But the truth as recorded in the New Testament, especially in the Book of Acts and the Epistles of Paul. Clearly shows that The New Testament church in the Word of God is the “One and only true original church of Jesus Christ ” You and I can know for sure, because it is described, for us in the Word of God in great detail.
The true church of Jesus Christ, as recorded in the New Testament, is God’s pattern and Jesus is the foundation for His church and it is a church to where he is the head and the great shepherd. Not Peter and certainly not the pope being the head, or being the shepherd.
Which is two titles that the anti-Christ Pope’s hold by claiming to be HOLY FATHER and SHEPHERD of the Catholic Church.
On this basis, I rest my case and will expose the unfruitful works of darkness I am sorry if some of you get offended but their is no other way to call a lie! Except its a lie. With that being said let’s examine the Roman Catholic claim that it is the “first church.”
Folks, for those of you who have read the New Testament you know that the Catholic churches claim is nowhere found in the New Testament. The “one true church” that I have read in the book of Acts and the writings of Paul are never found anywhere in the Word of God doing the following things:
1. Praying to Mary
2. Praying to the dead saints
3. Venerating Mary
4. Submitting to a pope
5. Having a select priesthood
6. Baptizing an infant
7. Observing the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper as sacraments
8. Passing on apostolic authority to successors of the apostles.
9. The office of pope
10. No Mass
11. No Purgatory
12. No Rosary
13. No literally eating the flesh and drinking the blood of Jesus
14. No confession box
15. No Eucharist being the soul and divinity of Jesus Christ
16. No Apparitions of mother Mary
All of these 16 lies! And many more, are some of the many core elements of the Roman Catholic faith.
Seriously my Catholic friends, just think about it, If most of the core elements of the Roman Catholic Church were not practiced by the New Testament Church of Jesus Christ, or by Peter himself (the first church and one true church of Jesus Christ ), how then can the Roman Catholic Church be the first church? A study of the New Testament will clearly reveal that the Roman Catholic Church is not the same church as the true church of Jesus Christ that is described in the New Testament.
Again, the New Testament records the doctrine and practice of the earliest Christians…and, the New Testament does not teach Roman Catholicism, in any way shape or form.
Just by these 16 lies which are adding to the Word of God. Their is no doubt about it folks that the Catholic Church is anti-christ substituting it self in place of Jesus Christ and his true church!
The reality of the truth is that the New Testament Church of Jesus Christ is found in the Word of God in Jesus Christ alone! paints for us a very sad spiritual picture of just how far the Roman Catholic Church has departed from the True church of Jesus Christ that is described in the New Testament.
The “first church” and “one true church of Jesus Christ” is recorded in the New Testament. That is the church that all churches whether Catholic or not are to follow, emulate, and model themselves after.
If the Catholic person would study the Bible for themselves, they will discover! how far the Roman Catholic Church had departed from the true church that was built on Jesus Christ, and his gospel that is described in the New Testament.
The “first church” and “one true church of Jesus Christ” is recorded in the New Testament. That is the church that all churches whether Catholic or not are to follow, emulate, and model themselves after. Jesus Christ is the head and Cornerstone of the New testament Church. Peter was never the Cornerstone of the Church of Jesus Christ, so clearly the Catholic’s church defense fails when these scripture come into play exposing the lie!
That Christ is the head of the Catholic Church, and Christ built his church on Peter is twisting scripture to their own destruction.
