Question:
Did Adam and Eve know of good and evil prior to sinning? It was only after Adam and Eve ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that the Bible says they came “to know good and evil” (Genesis 3:5,22). How could God punish them for an evil action if they did not know what evil was?
Problem: Have you ever heard of the phrase, “Money is the root of all evil”? This expression is derived from a passage of Scripture, but is it accurate?
However, the Bible includes other statements that seem to contradict this one, such as the following:
…but money answers everything. (Ecclesiastes 10:19)
How can money be evil and yet be the answer to everything?
We are living in a moment where neutrality is no longer an option. The pressure is real. The spiritual resistance is real. The confusion, deception, fear, and compromise flooding the world are not accidental. Scripture tells us plainly that what we are facing is not merely political, cultural, or social. It is spiritual. And because it is spiritual, it requires a spiritual response.
