  • Atheist Calls Christians Delusional... Then I Asked One Question
by Ryan Pauly on June 9, 2026 at 1:49 pm

An atheist commented on one of my videos and claimed that belief in God is a delusion and a sign of mental illness. When I asked him to justify that claim, he insisted that atheism is merely a lack of belief and therefore carries no burden of proof. But can someone claim that Christians are delusional while also claiming they aren't making any positive claims? Using his own definition of delusion, calling someone delusional requires showing: 1. The belief is false. 2. The belief is contradicted by clear evidence. 3. The belief is incompatible with reality. 4. The belief persists despite that evidence. Those are positive claims that require justification. So which is it? Is his atheism merely a lack of belief with no burden of proof, or is his claim that Christians are delusional a positive claim that requires evidence? What do you think? Can atheists lack belief in God and still make this kind of claim? Let me know in the comments. Want to challenge an idea, push back on an argument, or continue the discussion? • Free Will vs. Determinism: Are We Truly Free?
by Ryan Pauly on June 3, 2026 at 1:23 pm

If every thought is determined by brain chemistry and prior causes, can genuine free will or rationality exist? A major philosophical challenge for physicalism is grounding rationality and free will. This is one of the central questions in the debate over determinism and consciousness. #ThinkWell #Apologetics #FreeWill #Determinism #Philosophy

  • Is Logic Evidence for God?
by Ryan Pauly on May 26, 2026 at 11:56 am

The laws of logic are universal, immaterial, and unchanging. Those same attributes are often associated with God. Could logic itself be evidence for God’s existence? #ThinkWell #Apologetics #Logic #GodExists #ChristianShorts #FaithAndReason #Theology

  • Why Reason Points to God (Dr. Vern Poythress)
by Ryan Pauly on May 21, 2026 at 6:21 am

Can reason exist apart from God? Are the laws of logic simply human inventions, or do they point beyond themselves to something deeper? In this episode, I sit down with Dr. Vern Poythress to discuss his book, Redeeming Reason, and explore why human reasoning ultimately points to God. Dr. Vern Poythress (PhD, Harvard University, ThD, University of Stellenbosch) is Distinguished Professor of New Testament, Biblical Interpretations, and Systematic Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he has taught for over four decades. In addition to earning six academic degrees, he is the author of numerous books and articles on biblical interpretation, language, and science. • Why the Bible Doesn’t Support Slavery (Despite What You’ve Heard) | Pt. 7
by Ryan Pauly on April 29, 2026 at 11:01 am

Does the Bible promote slavery? It’s one of the most common objections to Christianity, and one of the most misunderstood. In this livestream, I examine slavery in the Bible, key passages, and the historical context of Old Testament and New Testament slavery. Does regulation mean endorsement? Or is there something deeper going on? Join the conversation and call in to challenge the argument live. We are discussing chapter 6 of Dan Kimball's book, "How (Not) To Read The Bible." Dan Kimball is the author of several books on leadership, church, and culture. He is on staff at Vintage Faith Church in Santa Cruz, California, and is on the faculty of Western Seminary. He also leads the ReGeneration Project, which equips church leaders and new generations to respond to the difficult questions being asked today about the Bible and the church.
