- Candace Owens Offered to Help Charlie Kirk's Accused Killer | G3 Weeklyby G3 Ministries on July 17, 2026 at 3:03 am
For ten months, Candace Owens told her audience that Tyler Robinson was a "total patsy" who wasn't even on the Utah Valley University campus the day Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Last week, over five days in a Provo courtroom, prosecutors put the evidence on the record: surveillance video placing Robinson on campus four separate times, an apparent sniper pad on a nearby rooftop, a handwritten note, and text messages the state says amount to a confession — "I am, I'm sorry." As the hearing unfolded, Owens announced she was offering to help the defense. This week on G3 Weekly, Scott Aniol examines the Kirk hearing, the conspiracy theories it demolished, and the commandment nobody wants to apply to their own side. Plus: the PCA sends its churches a report on Christian nationalism that says something true, something necessary, and something incomplete. The Church of England manages two votes in one week — unanimous about a war three thousand miles away, and three episcopal votes from rewriting marriage. And Ann Widdecombe, who left that same church in 1993 because it would not stop compromising, is murdered in her Dartmoor home in what counterterrorism police now call a targeted attack. This week on G3 Weekly, Scott Aniol examines four stories through the lens of Scripture: ▶ The Kirk Hearing and the Conspiracy That Collapsed ▶ The PCA on Christian Nationalism: True, Necessary, and Incomplete ▶ Two Votes in York: What the Church of England Told Us ▶ Ann Widdecombe and What She Saw in 1993 00:00 // WELCOME & THIS WEEK'S STORIES 01:39 // THE KIRK HEARING AND THE CONSPIRACY THAT COLLAPSED 13:14 // THE PCA ON CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM: TRUE, NECESSARY, INCOMPLETE 24:00 // THE PURITAN REFORMED CONFERENCE (AUG 20–22) 24:52 // TWO VOTES IN YORK: WHAT THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND TOLD US 34:08 // G3 PLUS 34:48 // ANN WIDDECOMBE, AND WHAT SHE SAW IN 1993 41:25 // CONCLUSION G3 National Conference — May 27–29, 2027 · Douglasville, GA · "Faithful in the Ordinary: Living All of Life for Christ" (plus a homeschool pre-conference) | https://events.g3min.org/ordinaryfaithfulness Puritan Reformed Conference — Aug 20–22, 2026 · Grand Rapids, MI · "Growing in Evangelism and Missions" (with Joel Beeke, Scott Aniol, Brooks Buser & the PRTS faculty) | https://events.g3min.org/prc26 👉 Go deeper with G3 Plus: hundreds of hours of trustworthy teaching on theology, worship, and the Christian life. - Bethel & Hillsong Are Discipling Your Church | G3 Weeklyby G3 Ministries on July 10, 2026 at 3:40 am
The songs your church sings on Sunday are teaching your church what to believe — so who is writing them? This week two of the largest worship-music empires on earth, Hillsong and Bethel, held back-to-back sold-out gatherings, even as their theology remains something most of the churches singing their songs would never actually preach. This week on G3 Weekly, Scott Aniol asks what God requires in worship — and why a sold-out arena is no measure of His favor — in the light of Scripture. Plus: a Beijing pastor walks free after nine months in a Chinese prison; the Islamic Republic of Iran moves to seize the oldest Protestant church in Tehran and evict the families living on its grounds; and the administration's push to end gender procedures on minors runs into a wall of court rulings. News in the light of Scripture — every week. This week on G3 Weekly, Scott Aniol takes on four stories through the lens of Scripture: In this episode: ▶ The Word Is Not Bound: A Beijing Pastor Walks Free ▶ Iran Moves to Seize Tehran's Oldest Protestant Church ▶ Whose Children Are They? Washington's Fight Over "Gender Care" for Minors Diagnosis ▶ The Biggest Show on Earth: Hillsong, Bethel & the Worship God Accepts 00:00 // WELCOME & THIS WEEK'S STORIES 01:21 // THE WORD IS NOT BOUND: A BEIJING PASTOR WALKS FREE 07:00 // THE PURITAN REFORMED CONFERENCE (AUG 20–22) 07:50 // IRAN MOVES TO SEIZE TEHRAN'S OLDEST PROTESTANT CHURCH 13:42 // FAITHFUL IN THE ORDINARY G3 NATIONAL CONFERENCE (MAY 27-29, 2027) 14:31 // WHOSE CHILDREN ARE THEY?
