Savior vs Lordship

This photo came from a Baptist church in Pensacola. This church uses dozens of ultraviolet blacklights to create a nightclub effect to make sinners feel at home. It’s like an episode of The Twilight Zone! I humbly think it is sad that churches have to create a nightclub atmosphere to get people to come to church.
Even worse, after the church service the senior pastor announced that a young boy had “become a Christ follower,” and that he had just “received the Savior as his ‘Lord.'” Folks, that is totally backwards! You don’t receive the Savior as your “Lord” to be saved, you receive the Lord as your personal Savior. :-, ” , , : , , , , .” I dare you to show me even one place in the inspired King James Bible where it says to receive Jesus as “Lord” of your life to be saved.
When the Philippian jailer in Rome asked Paul and Silas: “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?,” their plain biblical answer was to: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” Paul and Silas didn’t tell the man to repent of his sins, become a Christ follower, surrender “all” to Christ’s will, let Jesus take the wheel, ask, call, pray, live a perpetual changed life, exchange all that he was for all that Christ is, confess or anything else, they simply told him to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31). That is so simple that even a caveman can do it! Sorry…lol.
Oh, how men complicate everything.
“More people will die and burn in Hell, because they’re trusting too much!”—Pastor Jack Hyles, “Yea, Yea, And Nay, Nay!”
“Everything that’s hard and complicated about salvation is God’s side of it!”—Pastor Jack Hyles, “Yea, Yea, And Nay, Nay!”
Our churches in America today are in big trouble, but they don’t see the danger. Lordship Salvation is NOT the Gospel of free grace. We find Lordship Salvation condemned in the Bible, in Matthew 7:21-23. They cried “Lord, Lord” to Jesus, but the dear Savior denied knowing them as His sheep. Jesus tells us why they didn’t make it in Matthew 7:21, because they didn’t obey the will of the Father. We find the Father’s will in :, ” , , , : .” We see Jesus in the inspired Word of God. The Father’s will is simply to “BELIEVE ON HIM” (on the only begotten Son).
The Devil’s lie of Lordship Salvation tricks people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. The infidels in Matthew 7:21-23 prophesied (preached) in Jesus’ name. They did not just a few, but MANY WONDERFUL WORKS in Jesus’ name. They even cast out devils in Jesus’ name. They served Christ. They became Christ followers! They received the Savior as their Lord, crying “Lord, Lord.” But the knuckleheads never ceased from their own works, to rest in Christ alone for salvation (Hebrews 4:10-11). They failed to understand that it’s not what we do that saves us, but solely what Christ did through the blood He shed Calvary’s cross.
To be saved, you simply come to God as an admitted guilty sinner (Romans 3:19-23), receiving Christ’s sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that He was afterwards buried and then bodily resurrected the third day. This is the Gospel (Good News) according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-6.
