Testing the Spirits Podcast. Recently Justin Peters hosted Gabe Poirot on his podcast. Justin and Jim seem to agree Gabe is a false prophet therefore it begs the question, what does it look like (practically speaking) to mark and avoid false teachers (Romans 16:17-18) 2 John 9-11 says "do not even greet them". Sometimes we quote these verses without explaining what that looks like. Does that mean avoid and don't dialogue with them or is it fine to bring heretics on your podcast as long as you don't agree with them? It surprised me that when I quote these verses everyone says "amen" but then when it comes to putting them into practice nobody seems to agree! In this podcast I hope to resolve this question once and for all! FYI, I am a big supporter of Justin so this is not meant as any disrespect towards him.
