Genesis 1 – Are there two contradictory accounts of Creation in Genesis 1 and 2?

In Genesis 1 vegetation is made on Day 3, animals on Day 5-6 (before Adam), and man on Day 6. In Genesis 2:5-7, 18-20, he’s created before there was any vegetation or animals.

It’s easily observed that Eden was a garden made separate, but it doesn’t answer the chronology in Gen. 2:5-7, 18-20. But here the author is thinking ahead and stating it that way. Proof of this is the fact that Eden seems to be created “twice” if we follow a linear timeline as opposed to an expression of what the plan was – Gen. 2:8, 15. So we see that Adam being created before vegetation in Gen. 2:7 is a superscript – a summary of the end, and the actual timeline is in Genesis 1.

The same would go for the animals in vv.18-20. These were either made before hand but obviously with Adam in mind. Or they were remade in Eden for Adam to name.
