I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace Daniel 4:4 KJV
The book Of Daniel in chapter 4 contains those above words. Daniel wrote most of the book, but these words and others in this same chapter seem to indicate that King Nebuchadnezzar wrote this section.
If this is the case then God allowed a pagan king to write a small portion of the bible. Think about that for a second, Here was this Pagan king and he was the one that came down and destroyed Jerusalem and took God’s people into captivity. He is the one who was told he was the head of gold in the statute that God would destroy (See Daniel 2). He is also the one whom God humbled by taking away his kingdom for 7 years.
IF God could use someone like that, someone who is a pagan, worships other God’s. Someone who is a sinner, then How much more can he use you and me? All we have to do is be open and allow God to flow through you. Start today while you still have today. Not one of us is guaranteed a tomorrow. Seek God while he still can be found.
Please do not waste the talents that God has given you. I can hear some of you saying , but I am handicapped, Guess what so am I. All you have to be is willing and ask Gods to allow to be used. Even if your life touches one person and that one person is blessed and come to know God than great is your reward. You may not be able to write a book, or even preach a sermon, but you can pray and let your life be a light no matter where you are at.
