God’s Judgment on Sodom and Gomorrah is Coming to America Soon

Two angels walk into Sodom. Lot urges them off the street and to seek shelter. Night falls, and the men of the city surround the house—not whispering, not negotiating, not politely requesting dialogue. But demanding.

That’s the word. They demanded access. They demanded participation. They demanded affirmation.

This wasn’t just some private immorality behind closed doors or hidden in back-street alleyways. It was militant. It was communal. And it was proud. It was a city-wide movement insisting that sexual immorality be celebrated, not simply “tolerated.”

And for their rebellion, God incinerated the place. Reduced it to ash.

Now, every time Sodom is brought up, someone rushes in to soften it. “It wasn’t about sexual immorality.” “It was about hospitality.” “It was about injustice.”

Jude 1:7 shuts that down with apostolic clarity—they “indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire,” serving “as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.”

Ezekiel 16:49 adds pride to the indictment. Sexual immorality and pride—fused together.

Sound familiar?…
