This is part 5 of series on I Corinthians 12, 13 and 14.
I Cor 12:21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Here again we see that Paul is saying we are one body and no matter what part of his body you are you are important. Could we be a full complete body without hands or feet. We need every part to fully function as the body of Christ
I Cor 12:22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
Here Paul is saying no matter what part; it is still needed in order for the body of Christ to function. Think about your body and how all parts both small and large are needed for you to function
I Cor 12:23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
We should not honor just those parts of the body that we see or hear much about. What about those that are smaller. The Janitors, prayer warriors, greeters, those that sit with our children in the nurseries so that the preacher can share the word of God to others. It takes the full body each doing their part for the body to fully function
What part of the body of Christ has Christ placed you in? Know that God is pleased and that your function is of vital importance. If you do not know what part you are just ask God and he will show you. Then study and begin to do that function to your best and we all will be blessed.
