But, if God is everywhere, then how could Adam and Eve be sent out \u201cfrom the presence of the Lord\u201d?<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\"><strong>Solution:<\/strong> This verse is not speaking of God\u2019s omnipresence, but of a visible manifestation of God (cf. v. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?version=NKJV&amp;search=Ge3.24\">24<\/a>). God is everywhere in His omnipresence, but from time to time He manifested Himself in certain places through certain things, such as a burning bush (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?version=NKJV&amp;search=Ex3.1-22\">Ex. 3<\/a>), the pillar of fire (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?version=NKJV&amp;search=Ex13.21\">Ex. 13:21<\/a>), smoke in the temple (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?version=NKJV&amp;search=Is6.1-13\">Isa. 6<\/a>), and so forth.
